Snyder’s Gluten-Free Pretzels – purchased at Big Lots for $2.75.
I was very pleased to find that a familiar brand made Gluten-Free Pretzels. I usually eat my pretzels dipped in a little vanilla icing, and for these, the icing is a helpful mainstay. They did taste like pretzels, don’t get me wrong, however they are very hollow and quite hard. I was slightly afraid I might lose a tooth. So, taste-wise, they are decent and they smell pretty good too, but the texture is a good bit different. They don’t quite have the same sweetness either, but the getting over the hardness was the hard part. These are the first g/f pretzels I’ve ever had, so I don’t have any others to compare them to yet, but in terms of their comparison to wheat pretzels, I will be optimistic and give them a 3 out of 5.
